A blepharoplasty may be done for reconstructive purposes where there is

In this situation, a blepharoplasty may be done to remove the excess
tissue of the upper eyelid. Particularly in a young woman, this helps
open the eyes and helps to allow a greater area for placing makeup. In a
man, it may remove the extra skin that is touching on the lashes and
allow a more youthful appearance.
Of course, one must consider the effect of the eyebrows in removing the
skin, as it is possible that the eyebrows may be actual cause of the
